Meeting Minutes for April 13, 2005
Attendance: John Crist, Birge Dayton, Patty Pendergast, Aimee Santeler, Keith Santeler

Agenda Items:

· Guest Speaker Patty Pendergast from the CT Forest & Park Assoc. spoke on 2005 Legislation affecting Trails, Forests, Open Space:
            · ATV's are a problem on the trails - takes 6 hours to maintain foot trails, double that for mountain bikes and horses, a lifetime for ATV's
            · Information for writing letters concerning ATV Legislation: Link to ATV Legislation file

· Update on Webpage: (Keith & Aimee Santeler)
            · Added links to current issues (Highlands Act, Vis-Vol, CAN) and the conservation committee 2005 calendar

· Update on Display products & pricing: (John Crist)
            · We need to finalize the center graphic by next meeting (May 11) to have display for use on Trails Day (June 4)
            · We have been approved the the Special Project Grant on $300 to use towards the display. Al Puches is the treasurer, need to send him a description of what we’re getting and the bill
