CT AMC Committee Positions

Committees - Think you might want to help but aren't quite sure where or how? Our chapter chairperson can help! Whatever your interests, there is a place you can help.

Trails Committee

Trails Committee Secretary - Feel more comfortable working with a pen than a pry bar? This could be your Trails dream job!   Duties include maintaining files and taking Committee meeting minutes (once a month—take July, August, and December off!) and distributing them to involved parties, normally via email.

Trails Committee Co-Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Relations - This position ensures appropriate recognition goes to those who work on Trails!  Recruiting and keeping volunteers is the main responsibility. You will see to it that attractive pins, patches, shirts, etc. are in stock and go out to those deserving individuals, based on reports from your colleagues. Monthly meeting attendance is not required.

These important Trail Committee tasks are a good way to “Give Back to the Trail.”  Contact Trails Chair Dave Boone at trails@ct-amc.org, or any Trails Committee member.  And don’t forget, you are always welcome to come out on a Trail Improvement effort listed in AMC Outdoors or on the Trails page!
