Northwest Camp – Rates & Reservations
- A maximum of ten registered campers per calendar night allowed on the premises. The cabin capacity is 6 people per night.
- Please note that there are no refunds of cabin lodging fees.
- The combination to the cabin lock will be provided to renters by the Registrar during the registration process.
- Two Registration cards will be provided to the registered renter by the Registrar, one to be placed on the dashboard of automobile and the other to be attached to an acrylic sleeve inside the front window of the cabin. Registered renters can park overnight in the NW Camp parking area on Mt. Washington Road but must not block the gate.
- The key to both outhouses hangs on hook near the cabin’s inside table, and since outhouses are only provided for registered campers, they must be kept locked when not in use. Please use only the outhouse beginning September 1 ,2024 (not moldering privy) until May 1, 2025.
- Renters should follow government guidelines and self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. Renters are responsible for disinfecting all surfaces when arriving at the cabin. Questions during stay? Contact Caretaker, Don Klein at 860-792-1727 and leave a message.
- Renters must clean, sweep floors, close windows and lock the cabin (both doors) upon departure.
- Registered campers should sign logbook inside on the table
- Please practice “leave no trace” removing anything brought in and restoring the cabin and surrounding areas to pristine condition. This includes packing out all trash. Do not burn any trash in the fire ring or cabin woodstove.
- Renters are responsible for contacting the registrar after their stay with a recap of the camping experience and any issues that occurred on the property.
- Mt Riga Ranger, Ridgerunners and/or Cabin Monitors may inspect outside area during stay.
- Dogs are the responsibility of the owner and must be on a leash.
- Beware of possible Black Bears and/or Timber Rattlesnakes.

There is a limit of two weekends per member with a third weekend possible if the renter attends one of two workparties in the spring or fall. The workparties are always the first weekend in May and November. | |

Adjacent weekend is when the holiday date falls on a Friday or Monday. |
