History
The East of the River group is a collection of dynamic people who happen to live east of the Connecticut River.
We offer two hikes of varying distance and difficulty every Tuesday and Thursday, primarily in eastern or central CT. Most regular hikes begin at 9:30 a.m. or 10 a.m. for the easier hike. The East of the River group hosts periodic potluck dinners and holiday celebrations, and welcomes everyone, both members and non-members, to participate in its activities.
