Leading an AMC Ski Outing
Connecticut Chapter skiing is handled by the Excursions Committee. Leading a ski outing is no different than leading a hike, you must be a qualified CT AMC hike leader, and the procedures for submitting an outing are the same as for a hike. Due to the fleeting nature of snow in Connecticut, outings are more often informal and planned by email as soon as the snow falls. Several email lists are active in Connecticut.
